Hello! Thank you for allowing me to introduce myself. I am currently serving on the local level as the Immediate Past President of the Hattiesburg Area Association of REALTORS® and also serve on the Legislative and Regulatory Committee as well as the Professional Standards Committee at the state level for the Mississippi Association of REALTORS®. I have previously had the honor of being chosen to serve on the Housing Opportunity Committee for the National Association of REALTORS®.
I strongly believe in fair housing for all.
Although I grew up in Panama City, Florida, I’ve lived in the Hattiesburg area since 1994. If you’re about to make a move I know just how you feel…
Between 1994 and 2007 I moved 11 times.
It’s stressful. I get it.
It took me a while to find my calling as a REALTOR®, but I’ve always worked in an area of service. As a Registered Nurse I learned to care for others and to put the well-being of my patients before my own - a practice I continue to this day for my real estate clients.
The success I’ve achieved as a REALTOR® comes from combining my love for people and my ability to problem-solve in stressful situations with my “I talk to strangers everywhere I go” personality -Throw in a healthy dose of competitiveness and voila!
Having built 5 homes since 1996, I also know a lot about what goes in to quality construction. So whether it’s a pre-existing home or a new build you’ve got your heart set on, I can’t wait to work for you!
Named “Rookie of the Year” my first year in the business, I’ve won distinguished sales awards each year I’ve been a licensed REALTOR®, including being awarded 2023’s “REALTOR® of the Year” from over 450 agents in the Hattiesburg Area Association of REALTORS®. I believe strongly in continued education and hold numerous designations such as CRS, ABR, SRS, SRES, GRI, RENE, and C2EX. - Find out about what these mean HERE.
I have sold over $50 million dollars of real estate in the Greater Hattiesburg Area and can’t wait to serve you!
On a personal note…
My family loves a good road trip! We’ve driven the entire Natchez Trace with the kids and we also drove with them to the Grand Canyon where we hiked down the switchbacks to the Havasupai Indian Reservation. We’ve hiked up to Mt. LeConte and enjoyed an old-fashioned south Florida drive through St. Augustine.
Now that the kids are grown and on their own, John and I still love to travel. Our favorite spots are a good Airbnb in Nashville or Chicago - but Italy is a bucket list trip I hope to take within the next 5 years. We have recently become avid kayakers and love finding new creeks, rivers, and lakes to explore.
I love to cook a big pot of gumbo or chicken and dumplings for the kids when they’re home and a day with my camera in my hand wandering the streets of New Orleans makes me really happy. But a nice quiet evening on the couch binge-watching a good Netflix series with my husband after a successful day at work sure is hard to beat!
